Lake Michigan Beach Cottage #2!

Decent house, good space and pretty good location. No easy place to park and no info in guidebook about parking. Very strong, overwhelming smell of pesticides on entering house from likely recent pest control. Had to open all the windows for first 24 hours, thankfully the weather allowed this. Coffee pot was old and musty, no coffee or other amenities at all. No soap or shampoo so had to DoorDash coffee, snacks, soap, shampoo right away. Bed was comfortable. Overall quite expensive but good location close to beach. No restaurants or coffee shops in walking distance, town is seven mile drive so the lack of coffee pot and snacks was a detractor, make sure you bring things for your first 12 hours if you don’t want to have to order door dash or drive somewhere right away after unpacking.

Lovely neighborhood with access to private beach. Both the house and beach were pet friendly which we really appreciated. The gatehouse attendants were super helpful at helping us navigate the neighborhood and plan our jaunts to the beach.

Our family had a wonderful time staying here. The walk to the beach was easy, and the house was great for our family. Thank you!

The house was immaculate, the location was perfect, and we thoroughly enjoyed both Lake Macatowa, as well as the gorgeous beach at Lake Michigan. There was plenty of nearby activities for both the “old-timers” and the kids. All-in-all it suited our vacation plans ideally! I will definitely recommend this place to our Chicago friends!

Our small little of family of three booked a two week stay at this cottage and loved it. It was very clean with spacious living/dining room. Can’t wait to come back!
